FAQs
How long does a painting take?
Once work has begun, it generally takes about 30 days to create a work of art from scratch.
What kind of paint do you use?
It varies, but we generally like to stick with what works best... for us that's Liquitex Acrylics.
What kind of canvas do you use?
I ONLY paint on LEVEL 3 pre-gessoed canvases. That is a thicker, gallery-grade 1.5 inch think canvas. To greater avoid warping.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, Will Slaton Studio offers payment options and plans directly on our website, via the Collections link.
Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, Will Slaton Studio does ship internationally. However, a fee may be applied to long-distance shipping.
How are the paintings shipped?
We follow a strict protocol, which is a three-part process. First we wrap canvases and prints in acid-free paper, and then (with canvases only), we cover it in bubblewrap, then reprinted canvases ship in cardboard boxes, while original artwork is shipped in a custom wood crate.
How do I care for my new painting?
Don't worry, artwork is not that difficult to care for, and with all large shipments we include a care guide with all the relevant directions needed for proper care.
What's your return policy?
Experience a problem with a recent purchase? Sometimes things happen when in transit, that is no one's fault. If you believe you've received a damaged item, simply refer to our Return Policy here.
