01 MATERIALS & PROCESS
I use only premium, archival materials... chosen for their performance, beauty and longevity. Each original painting is created with professional grade acrylics, painted on Level-3 (1.5 inch thick) canvases, with fully painted edge transitions, gallery-wrapped in acid-free glassine paper and crated in custom wood crates, to ensure a damage-free exchange.

My process is intuitive yet disciplined. Layer-by-layer, I build depth, texture and emotion... and like a sculptor, draw the image from the canvas, allowing each painting to evolve into its truest form.

02 PRODUCTION STANDARDS
I begin each work of art with pre-determined intension and design, to create a pre-conceived painted vision. I begin each journey, using my years of psychological study to decide on a subject that displays emotion in such a way that it is 'palpably' felt by the viewer.
I always create a hand-drawn sketch, that becomes my underdrawing, I then coat the canvas in an initial UV sealant, coat the canvas in a wash (underpainting), create the artwork, beginning to finish, then finally seal it in a flat or satin varnish and then retighten the canvas.

03 COMMISSIONS
'Threshold' is the term we use for our commission process. A commissioned artwork is a collaborative journey, that begins with a conversation and may follow up with a questionnaire to fully engage and understand your unique position and what you want to capture in this custom work of art.
I work closely with you to uncover the meaningful moments, most precious to you and create a lasting piece that becomes part of a legacy, to be passed on, to future generations.

I take our discovery materials and create a unique work of art that reflects everything with intension and care

Once the work is created we meet for the grand reveal and discuss the artwork, complete with certificate
04 SHIPPING & CARE
Your custom artwork is carefully covered and protected while in transit. All original art canvases are carefully wrapped in acid-free paper, bubblewrap and covered with a custom wooden crate enclosure, ensuring protection throughout its final journey to you... arrived undamaged and in perfect condition.
Each artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed, stamped and dated, by the artist. It also includes appropriate hanging hardware attached and ready to hang, as well as instructions for hanging and care.
PROTECTION
Every canvas is treated three ways: A UV coating, A water bath (to tighten the canvas) and A final varnish for maximum protection
PACKAGING
Every original canvas is protected three ways: Wrapped in acid-free paper, Covered in bubblewrap, and Enclosed in a wooden crate
SHIPMENT
Shipped First-Class via a tier one carrier and packaged for protection and longevity throughout the trip, both local and overseas
CARE ABOVE ALL
All premium artworks and reprints come with a custom certificate of authenticity and hanging and care instructions for a seamless transition
